Siân has been riding bikes for many years including a nitrous 1200cc V-Max to Grand Prix two-stroke racers. Steve has raced motocross, karts and bikes but in recent years has supported Siân. Steve is now returning to the track for the Goodwood 75MM.
As a mostly self-supported racer Siân puts her graphic design skills to good use creating visual messages that help get the team noticed.
inspired by the logo design we created for PDQ Precision we designed the livery to adorn their Ducati Tri-Options Cup machine. We specified vinyl wrap to obtain this dramatic graphic effect.
The TZ250L sports an adaptation of the famous Yamaha speed block pattern, we applied our design using vinyl which was generously supplied by Projects and Print. Sian’s helmet design references the Little Miss Daredevil character!
Made-to-measure leathers are great opportunity to design the colours, graphics and branding. Excellent photographers are usually present at the circuits and supply their images to the club, motorcycle press and for race reports.
Sian enjoyed several battles with Jake in the Post Classic 125 Series in 2015. She agreed to support the young rider with a new logo and race number for his next venture into the Ducati Tri-Options Cup through 2016.
Sian has designed race numbers, graphics and decals for many racers at club level, British Championship and even MotoGP.
To create the designs for the Juchem TZ250 and the TZ250L, Sian used Adobe Illustrator CC to draw a highly detailed visual to use as a blank canvas for the design of the graphics.
During the restoration of the Honda RS125 Sian drew up a simple flat colour illustration and designed the colours and graphics. This was supplied to the paint sprayer and the coloured lines and lettering applied in cut vinyl.
